After a few casual talks, he seemed to become more open and friendly and suddenly he asked: "Brother, my stomach is full and there is plenty of food left in my car. Would you like me to bring 'em?"
My mind got clouded and overthought much and wanted to tell, sorry we are of extreme self esteem and can't eat anyone's left over, so don't ask this anymore.
But I replied: "Sorry, bro. Even I am full. Not now."
"Sure?"
"Yeah.Thanks. Was that any party, or.."
"No bro. I just went to an Indian restaurant, and told them to pack my left over."
"you like Indian food?"
"Yeah bro. I love 'em. The awesome spices! I used to go to Indian restaurants at least thrice a week with my buddies."
"Thanks man. But, it's not even a bit of the real flavors we use in our country, bro."
"You are lucky then, bro. You get awesome food. I didn't want to waste the food, so simply asked."
" :) "
"All right buddy..catch you later.."
"Thanks buddy. see ya.."
The remaining night was full of guilt feeling for misunderstanding his good intention and for the worse(?) self esteem with which we are grown!
The buddy made me thoughtful for a while.. Then back to work... But leaving some golden niche of a bro, somewhere...
